The Continental kits for theses 59 Impalas are hard to come by, I think it would look better without it all but once again that is only my taste and opinion

Folded down view, the black line (middle bottom) is where someone opened the boot without lowering the rack and took all the paint off as there is no clearance, the good thing is that the cowling that was scratched is pretty much the only crap plastic you will find on the whole car.
