Trippin

 It's on like Donkey kong!!

.

We have taken off and headed South the flip of the coin determined direction heads being sth on the 15.07.11, first stop was Forster Tuncurry.

In a parkin spot out of town turned out interesting as we were only there 5 min when a Woman knocked on the door who had got bogged on a mound of sawdust someone had dumped, most pics are on the phone so will update when i can get them off as the new/ old laptop does not have Bluetooth.

The area we are in has been constant rain the most rain recorded in 65 yrs ............... typical.

Spent a few days in the Mungo scrub on the edge of the Myall lakes  nice  secluded little spot with a few Dingoes around, Shaz was cooking some Bacon/ eggs which drew one of them out of the bush a beautiful  pup around 7-8 months old and obviously full of worms by the condition it was in.

This one was young as it had not fallen victim to scrub mite also it had no ear tag or radio tracking collar used to track their movement.

It was not a pure bred and had a touch of Collie in it i would say ..... pics to come, ignore the annoying 2008 timestamps on the pics as the cam will not reset and hold the current date.

I took this pic while following the Dingo tracks up through the sand hills this shot is over lookin Myall lakes to roughly the West in Mungo scrub.

I have finally found a little Puppy for Shaz a little Red Kelpie male that we have named Ochre (as in the red mineral pigment used by Aboriginal people) at first I was going to call him Mungo but it sounds to much like Mongrel, anyway he is doing real well and went for his Parvo/ influenza/ etc shots yesterday and is due for the follow ups at 12 weeks old.

He shows a hell of a lot of potential and is very switched on for a pup of 8 weeks old he is already house trained and has near on mastered the basic "sit" command, he is doin well and went on a fishin trip today which was a huge adventure and quite dangerous as the area has a fairly good Dingo population and can easily run out of the sand hills and snatch him it has happened quite a few times in the area with small dogs even when on their leads.

.

Fishin trip today (Jul 26th) done very well I bagged four 5-6  Lb Salmon and one Tailor lost a monster that jumped and tossed the hook, Ochre wasen't really phased by them nor by the crashin waves like a typical Kelpie they have a Lions heart.

Check out the backdrop beautiful beach, this shot here is of the BIG one that got away was a lot bigger then the others that gained some slack line and tossed the hook, not the ideal rod/ reel for beach work but did the trick!
